Invitation to Press Conference With Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and the United Nations Environment Programme Convention on Migratory Species
WASHINGTON, May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Nick Carter, of the Backstreet Boys,
Fast Glass and House of Carters, together with the United Nations
Environment Programme (UNEP), the Convention on Migratory Species (CMS) and
the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS), invite you to a press
conference to announce Nick Carter as Special Ambassador for the Year of
the Dolphin (YoD). The YoD is a campaign focusing on raising awareness of
dolphins in the wild, the threats they face to their survival and actions
that could help their wild conservation.
Nick Carter will explain his engagement with the work of the Convention
on Migratory Species for the protection of cetaceans. UNEP, CMS and WDCS
will discuss the current alarming threats to dolphin conservation and
promote the International Year of the Dolphin -- a public awareness
campaign currently gathering supporters from around the world.

Nick Carter may have been sentenced to an alcohol rehab, but to tell you the truth, that won't affect his band Backstreet Boys to embark on their upcoming tour, set to begin this month at the Gwinnett Arena. On top of that, Nick will keep going on with all the band members, joining them on their tour across North America.
Some confirmed tour dates include; August 2, Toronto, ON - Molson Amphitheatre; September 3, Vancouver, BC - GM Place; 4, Kelowna, BC - Prospera Place; 5, Calgary, AB - Saddledome; 7, Winnipeg, MB - MTS Centre; 10, Kitchener, ON - Kitchener Memorial Auditorium; 11, London, ON - John Labatt Centre; 12, Ottawa, ON - Corel Centre; and September 13, Montreal, QC - Bell Centre.
